- Dual Pro Boat Marine Sportsman Series Battery Charger 40A 4-10A-Banks 12V-48V.
- XPS 10 AMP DUAL BANK ON BOARD BOAT BATTERY CHARGER.
- Bass Pro Shops XPS IT2 4/4 Onboard Battery Charger.
- I don’t have an owner’s manual since I got the charger second hand. Does this mean I have a bad battery? One last think – this is the first time the light has blink like this in owning it for 4 years. Now the blinking Red light is on the other bank.
I switch the cables to the batteries trying to charge the battery that I thought was not getting charged. At first I thought the onboard charger was going bad but now I’m not sure. Now I have one bank that only comes on with a blinking Red light. When the battery is fully charged the last light goes Green.
Each bank has 6 little lights and when you first start charging they all glow red and go out as the battery charges. Anyone else had this problem? I have a “Ranger Special Edition 3 Bank Pro” onboard charger. I have a Bass Pro XPS onboard charger that when I plug it in the lights just start blinking. That got me wondering if the batteries should be by the gas tank, but a marina installed them there so I would assume that the on board battery charger installed back there would be fine as long as I get it off to the side and not over or below the batteries.XPS onboard charger problems. It says that it shouldn't be near a gas tank, but that is where my batteries are. I need to know how to and where to install the charger. Now I bought an on board battery charger from minnkota that has 2 banks. the only thing I have hooked up to the cranking battery is the motor, which from what I read was correct. I recently switched everything over to the Interstate batteries and a separate line for my stereo. I figured out that everything electronic was hooked up to the cranking battery including my stereo. the trolling motor is hooked up to the Interstate battery and the back-up interstate battery I believe.
I have a cranking battery on one side in the back of the boat and 2 interstate batteries on the other side. I just bought my first fishing boat and it is a 1998 Nitro Tracker 205SF with a 200 horse and a trolling motor.
